Some years ago, I started web designing, I designed an e-commerce website on WordPress it was fully functional and elegant indeed, I spent a couple of days on the web design, after the 5th day I was done and ready to transfer it to an online server, I used Xampp server which is a local server, the site was only stored offline on my PC.

When I hosted it (Transferred to an online server) within the first 2 days the server I hosted on went down, it was a very bad experience. and I was struck with a little natural disaster, (My office got Burnt) though the insurance took care of my loss, my computer was damaged I could not retrieve my hard disk.

This post is to guide you on how to back up your WordPress website with an easy plugin Duplicator. No matter your server local or Online server so you’ll not experience such a terrible experience as I did a few years ago.
