How to Switch from WhatsApp to GBWhatsApp without loosing your Data


A lot of people have been trying to switch to GB WhatsApp because of its amazing themes and fonts style and mainly, the Ability to save sum ones status at a Go.
But are scared of loosing their chats.
So in this post I'll detail steps on how to switch from any of them to Any other without loosing any chat or images.

**Also introducing the status saver for normal WhatsApp

Firstly we learn how to switch to Normal WhatsApp Messenger.
Then to GBWhatsApp.

To switch from GB WhatsApp to normal WhatsApp, follow this steps.

Before we start back up your Chats..
•Know where your new files are located (SD card or Internal storage) ie. Default write disk.
•Go to WhatsAppp.
•Click on you menu at the top right side of your screen (Three Vertical Dots)
•Click on settings below and then chats, then you click on chat back up.

Now the steps.

Step 1. Install the WhatsApp messenger app
Step 2. On your Smartphone Go to your file manager, search for GB WhatsApp folder and click on it, then click on media
Step 3. You rename all the folders, Remove all the "GB" that starts in the "GB WhatsApp" like in the picture below. And rename all the folders one after the other


Step 4. There should be a folder "WhatsApp" in your file manager (it appeared when you installed the WhatsApp), delete the folder. And rename the  "GB WhatsApp" folder to "WhatsApp" like in d picture below and save.


Done You may then launch your new WhatsApp.

If you want to Migrate From WhatsAppp to GB WhatsApp without loosing any chat.
Follow the method 


•First and foremost you will have to back up your Chats.
•Know where your new files are located (SD card or Internal storage) ie. Default write disk.
•Go to WhatsAppp.
•Click on you menu at the top right side of your screen (Three Vertical Dots)
•Click on settings below and then chats, then you click on chat back up.

 •On the WhatsApp folder on you storage device (internal or External, you should know your "default write disk")
•Rename the folder to GB WhatsApp and each folder within should be changed from "WhatsApp to GBWhatsApp."

It's just a Reverse of the other methods.
